. “Within Halladay Quist’s sultry, angelic voice lies a lion’s roar of love, compassion, earthiness and storytelling. Her heart guides her to play music as much as possible.”-406 Magazine
Winning Best of Flathead last year, Halladay took her love of music to new heights as she produced the first annual Montana’s Got Talent. Her mission: to elevate artists from all across Montana and to raise money for an online center for music education and artist development for all ages called Starlight Academy to debut later this year. www.StarlightAcademy.org
Throughout her musical career Halladay has always had a hand in music education, touring schools in Montana and teaching songwriting and performance workshops. In 2020, she even taught K-8th music education at Deer Park Elementary and later at Fair Mont Egan.
This year, Halladay is teaming up with her father Rob Quist to debut a new show in theaters across the state called “A Love Letter to Montana.” The show is a breathtaking journey through the heart of the Big Sky Country, blending the songwriting and storytelling of a family rooted in Montana for generations. This unique presentation, set to the exquisite photography of Chance Jackson, captures the spirit and splendor of Montana in a way that has never been seen before.
“This is an absolute jaw-dropping vocal and visual performance. TRULY a Love Letter to MT by a Montana Music Hall of Famer and his equally talented superstar daughter. I’m still dreaming about it.” - Project Winterland Festival Founder Anderson Rosenthal
